Merry Christmas from Rock Solid!
Happy Christmas, Rock Solid family! May Santa be forever kind and the Grinch not pinch your new jandals!
Santa's not the only one visiting Rotorua this month, and he's going to need a bigger bag.
Since the Auckland boundary came down, we've been stoked to welcome new and familiar faces back to the hostel just in time for the stunning summertime sun. It's certainly keeping our team busy - and we love it!
As we get ready for the most wonderful time of the year, we've got a few little updates to share. Here's what's happening at Rock Solid over Christmas.
Christmas and New Years Opening Hours at Rock Solid
The hostel will remain open across Christmas, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
The only change this year is that our reception will be closed on Christmas Day, but our staff will continue to be around the hostel throughout the day as usual. If you're planning to check-in on Christmas Day, please call our team on 07 282 2053, and we'll be there to help you get settled in.
Our reception will be back open again as normal on Boxing Day.
A Fond Farewell
With Christmas, we bid farewell to one of our team, Coralee, as she moves on to new opportunities.
In the year since she joined us, she's become an invaluable part of the hostel, supporting us across reception and housekeeping with an incredible energy. While we're sad to say goodbye, we can't wait to see the amazing things she gets up to in the future!
That's it for this week. From all of us at Rock Solid, have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
See you in 2022!
